Welcome to the workshop Managing the Unknown, part one!

Together with our Ander-visiting Professor Pascal Le Masson (MINES Paris -PSL) and his colleague Dr Antoine Bordas we will hold a Design WS focused on “Managing the Unknown”! 

A topic that is currently in focus in the Industrial Engineering and Management – education programme, a special track in the 2026 European Academy of Management conference (EURAM), and a theme in some of our joint research initiatives.

 May 5^th (Afternoon), 13.00-16.00 (room 11A316) 

• A research-oriented Design WS will focus on what “Managing the Unknown” means for different subjects. Here our aim is to gain a better understanding of interdisciplinary work presented by our researchers Ingo O. Karpen (professor in Business Administration) and Marcus Berg (Professor in Physics), and how we can complement each other in our pursuit of knowledge.
