CTF seminar “Early-career academic engagement in university–industry collaborative PhDs: Research orientation and project performance”
Welcome to CTF seminar,
Pascal Le Masson, guest professor at CTF from Pascal Le Masson at MINES Paris–PSL will hold a seminar.
Title: “Early-career academic engagement in university–industry collaborative PhDs: Research orientation and project performance”
Please note that this a face to face seminar.
(The seminar will be held in English)
Description: The research tradition at CTF primarily has build upon co-creation of knowledge with external private and public organizations. One important activity in this vein has been CTF’s engagement in ‘Industrial PhD schools’, where the student is employed by an external organization while doing the thesis work. One of CTF’s guest professors, Pascal Le Masson at MINES Paris–PSL, has recently co-authored an article in Research Policy (A+), titled “Early-career academic engagement in university–industry collaborative PhDs: Research orientation and project performance”.
He will discuss the findings and implications from the article, but also share his experiences from the review process in Research Policy, one of the most prominent journals within the area.
You are all warmly welcome to this academic discussion.
