In focus: Open Access Week 2024
Welcome to Open Access Week 2024! This international event, held annually, promotes open access to research and scholarly information, contributing to the global movement toward greater transparency and openness in science.
Open Science aims to enhance the quality of research while fostering engagement between researchers and society. With this year's theme, "Community over Commercialization", Open Access Week provides a great opportunity to spotlight open science practices benefiting both the scientific community and the public.
Karlstad University Library celebrates this year's Open Access Week through holding webinars about open access agreements with publishers, open data and data management plan, copyright and licensing, open peer review and open educational resources.
