Library researcher support seminar series: researcher profiles
As part of the library researcher support workshop series, we will explore online research profiles and strategies for promoting yourself as a researcher and improving your research visibility.
Although publishing the results of a research project, such as in an article, and receiving attribution for that work might seem like the final stage of dissemination, it marks the beginning of the scientific disclosure process on the web. Your research is important, and you are valued as a researcher producing new information that contributes to the body of knowledge in your field. Both you and your research certainly deserve to be known and heard in relevant areas. Having an up-to-date and well-maintained researcher profile will help you expand your network and increase your research impact.
In this 90-minute workshop, designed primarily for researchers and PhD students, you will receive guidance on how to effectively use available online research platforms to enhance both your and your research visibility.
The workshop is organized by the library researcher support group and will be held in English. No registration is necessary. Welcome!
