My research is in the area of Software Architecture Recovery and Consistency specifically investigating improving the processes, methods, and tools to discover software architecture degradation or erosion. In particular, I am looking to find ways of making the software architecture model creation and code-to-architecture mapping steps in software architecture consistency checking (SACC) methods like Reflexion Modeling more efficient by means of automation. The hope is that automating these processes will reduce the effort required by Software Architects to incorporate successful SACC techniques like reflection modeling into their everyday software engineering activities.
