Peter Magnusson is a Professor in Business Administration focusing on Industrial Engineering Management
Peter has twenty years of working experience in research and development from the computer and telecommunications industries working at companies as Ericsson, and Telia. He is registered as inventor for a dozen of patents related to tele- and data-communication. Since 2004 he is fully affiliated to the Service Research Center at Karlstad Business School doing research and teaching.
His research focuses on new product and service innovation, servitization, and organizing and managing creativity. Especially he has contributed to the understanding on how ordinary users can contribute to the ideation process of technology-based services. His current research is focusing on idea creation and evaluation, developing new methods for more effective and efficient screening by, for example, exploring the role of intuition.
Peter has received several nominations and awards for his research, and his work has been published in leading refereed journals such as Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Service Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and Technovation.
