My research area is security and privacy, mostly in distributed systems.
More specifically, my research interests are anonymous communications, privacy friendly digital identifiers, the relationship between privacy and trust, and usability aspects of security mechanisms, such as access control lists and firewalls.
I have been working with security and privacy for the past 20 years.
I'm the course responsible for the computer security introduction course DVGC19 and the upcoming ethical hacking course. I am also the course responsible and the privacy enhancing technologies course DVAD32 and DVAD33.
I collaborate mainly with Swedish and European universities, and industry partners in Swedish and EU H2020 funded projects.
I came from there, then I moved here, then move to somewhere else, then I moved to another place, then I moved back here (mostly across international borders). If you want to know where there, here, somewhere else, and another place are, then check my very own outdated page: http://leo.kau.se :-)
