Den forskning jag bedriver är inriktad på att utveckla metoder och modeller för att bättre förstå och beskriva trä som lastbärande material. Ofta används kombinationen av avancerade numeriska modeller och experimentella försök i syfte att förstå och beskriva komplexa fenomen som uppträder då trämaterialet belastas.
