Oral hälsa | Karlstad University

Oral hälsa ingår som huvudområde i tandhygienistprogrammet. Området är mångfacetterat och bildar en helhet av kunskaper från naturvetenskapliga (främst odontologi och medicin) samt samhälls-, beteende- och folkhälsovetenskapliga domäner. Oral hälsa innefattar kunskaper och färdigheter i att bedriva och utveckla munhälsofrämjande insatser och munhälsovård för barn, ungdomar, vuxna och äldre personer, både på individ-, grupp- och populationsnivå.
