New professors and new honorary doctor
2025-10-07Karlstad University celebrates Academic Celebration on 17 October. Four of the professors being inaugurated and one of the honorary doctors being conferred are affiliated with Rose.
– The scientific competence within Rose has been significantly strengthened since its inception as a strong group, says Christina Olin-Scheller, Professor in Literature Didactics and Educational Work at Karlstad University. Our long-term work on building an environment that welcomes and systematically supports junior researchers has yielded results.
Collaboration within Rose has generated competitive research projects with external funding from a range of different research funders.
– An important aspect of this collaboration is the inclusion of researchers at all levels and national and international network-building activities focused on strengthening the field of educational research. Through a shared focus on supporting conference participation, project applications and academic publications, career paths and credentials have become both visible and accessible to many.
