Law

At Karlstad University, doctoral programmes awarding licentiate and doctoral degrees in Law are offered in the areas of jurisprudence, civil law, tax law, international law, environmental law, public law, procedural law, and criminal law.

Karlstad University Business School collaborates with the Division for Commercial and Business Law at the Department of Management and Engineering at Linköping University and with Juridicum at the School of Law, Psychology and Social Work at Örebro University to offer the following courses in Law at doctoral level:

• Research Theory and Methodology, 15 ECTS
• The Moral Philosophy and Ethics of Jurisprudence, 7.5 ECTS
