Prof. Kai Holzweissig presents his thoughts on this subject from a paper by Gregor and Hevner. He will also present some of his research on social software and management of formal new product development processes. Kai is professor at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Stuttgart (Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg Stuttgart in Germany and DHBW Stuttgart for short) and visited us during a couple of days in May to discuss future Erasmus exchanges.

In his doctoral thesis, Johan Eklund, lecturer in computer science at Karlstad University, shows how SCTP and multihoming can be applied to real time traffic. Real time traffic is not only dependent on data being delivered correctly, but also on time. Different types of real time traffic have different time demands. Some traffic (hard real-time traffic) is strictly dependent on being delivered on time.
