Doctoral Education
The Department of Human Geography offers doctoral studies in three different forms: as part of the subject itself with a general syllabus, or through the Graduate School of Region Building, which has a special syllabus in line with its profile, or, as a third alternative, through the licentiate graduate school for teachers, and in that case with a syllabus focused on Human Geography with a specialisation in Geography Education (CSD-FL) – see the webpages for doctoral education and graduate schools.
Our doctoral students
At present we have three doctoral students in Cultural Geography, whose research is about Biosphere Areas, Digitization, Citizenship and Smart Cities and Space Creation and Virtual Reality.
