With Minor Field Studies (MFS), you can receive a Sida-funded scholarship to conduct a field study in a country where Sweden has active development cooperation. The field study lasts at least 8 weeks and gives you the opportunity to combine your degree thesis with a unique international experience – regardless of which subject you are studying at Karlstad University.
You have:
- The opportunity to collect data for your thesis in a country with active Swedish development cooperation
- A scholarship of 35,000 SEK to cover part of the costs

MFS not only opens up an exciting field work experience – you will become part of something bigger and contribute to the sharing of knowledge about international development cooperation.
