Practical placement in Environment and Safety
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course consists of practical work experience at a workplace relevant to the degree programme. Students gain work experience in an area in which environmental and risk management expertise is needed and have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills acquired in their studies.
Students are responsible for finding their own placement and supervisor. Both are to be approved by the course convener before the start of the placement period. The tasks performed at the workplace must involve independent work and be related to the learning outcomes specified for the course and in consultation with the course convener, workplace supervisor and the student.

Admission requirements
Admission to the Environment and Safety Programme (SGMIS) and completed 60 ECTS programme credits, or equivalent.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
