Basic Counselling Skills for Case Managers
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course focuses on counselling as an aid to improving and strengthening the individual's own resources as well as strengthening the student's ability to lead counselling and be a resource in a non-therapy context. The contents of the course include the following:the importance of social cognition for the nature and content of counselling, dysfunctional communication, and different counselling registers. The course also provides orientation in ethical issues in supportive relationships.

Admission requirements
Completion of the first term, and 22.5 ECTS credits from the second term and at least 22.5 ECTS credits from the third term of the case manager programme.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
