Scientific methods in Psychology - advanced level
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course covers different types of research designs based on experimental, quasi-experimental, and non-experimental approaches. Qualitative and quantitative analytical methods are introduced and applied. Searching for, evaluating, and using scientific literature, as well as presenting research ethical considerations, including gender equality and sustainability perspectives, form part of the course to prepare students for the master thesis.

Admission requirements:
A bachelor-level degree, including 90 credits with progressive specialisation in Psychology and an independent project of at least 15 credits at G2E level. In addition, upper secondary level Swedish 3, English 6 or Swedish level 3, English level 2. An equivalence assessment can be made.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
