- Central theories and perspectives on knowledge and learning, how these relate to one another, and how they underpin different ideas about the planning, implementation, assessment, and evaluation of teaching, with particular relevance to music education
- Philosophy of science perspectives on education and the principle that schooling should be grounded in scientific evidence and proven experience, including discussions on evidence-based teaching practices
- The fundamentals of qualitative and quantitative methods
- Academic writing as a tool for learning, development, and professional dialogue

Educational tools for teachers - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, and at least 45 ECTS credits completed in the Music Teacher Programme, plus registered for Teachers' pedagogical approach 1 - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, or equivalent

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
