Communication Tools for Industrial Design
7.5 ECTS credits
Instruction is in the form of literature studies, lectures, seminars, workshops, and exercises in the different areas of the design process. The course covers customer involvement, how aspects of gender and ethnicity influence product development, semantics, the theory of colour and form, and the communication tools of the industrial designer. Ergonomics and service design are also introduced.
Progressive specialisation: G1F (has less than 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)
Education level: Undergraduate level
Admission requirements: Introduction to Innovation and Design, 7.5 ECTS credits, and registered on the course Visual Thinking and Design, 7.5 ECTS credits, or equivalent
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
