Business Simulation and Analytics
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course covers the theoretical and practical analysis of data produced in various operational systems.
The course addresses the data-analysis process, data preparation, and data analysis for businesses. Basic descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytics, as well as the basics of prescriptive analytics, are introduced using basic statistics for business analytics and data visualisation.
Instruction is in the form of lectures, laboratory sessions for work with analytics and simulation tools, as well as a group project including several supervision sessions.

Admission requirements:
30 credits completed in Information Systems or 30 credits completed in Business Administration, or a total of 30 credits completed in a combination of Information Systems and Business Administration.
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
