Entrepreneurship
7.5 ECTS creditsThe following issues are described and discussed in the course:
- What is entrepreneurship?
- Who is/becomes an entrepreneur?
- The relationship between innovation and entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurial strategies: Causation and Effectuation
- Entrepreneurial roles: The start-up entrepreneur, social entrepreneurship, corporate entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship in value networks
Throughout the course, students conduct their own - real or imagined - entrepreneurial projects. This practical course component is combined with reading assignments and seminars. The two parts of the course are integrated through reflection, individually and in groups.

Admission requirements
At least 60 ECTS credits in the Industrial Engineering and Management programme (TACIE), including the courses IEGA06 Industrial Organisation (7.5 ECTS credits) and IEGA07 Industrial Management Accounting (7.5 ECTS credits), and registration on the courses IEGA05 Industrial Marketing (7.5 ECTS credits) and IEGA09 Corporate Finance (7.5 ECTS credits), or equivalent
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
