Spanish - Non-Verbal Communication in the Teaching of Spanish
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course has a focus on non-verbal communication as a compensatory strategy in teaching Spanish. The potentials of non-verbal communication, prosody, body language, facial expression, eye contact, and body contact in the classroom are treated, as are intercultural aspects related to the Swedish teaching contexts. The course also includes recording and analysis of the students' own non-verbal communication in the classroom.
