Spanish I: Modern Spanish Text

 7.5 ECTS credits
The course includes the study of current texts written in Spanish, e.g. newspaper articles, factual texts and narratives, with an emphasis on content and form, such as vocabulary, idiomacy, phrases and grammatical structures, and practice in writing texts in different genres.

Progressive specialisation: G1N (has only upper‐secondary level entry requirements)

Admission requirements
General admission requirements plus either - field-specific eligibility A2 (upper secondary school level Modern languages - Spanish 3), or - field-specific eligibility 2 (upper secondary school level Spanish Step 3, English B) barring English B, or - the courses ESGN01 Spanish basic course 1, 15 ECTS cr and ESGN02 Spanish qualifying course 2, 15 ECTS cr.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
