15.0 ECTS creditsThe course contains and combines theory and practice. The student is to carry out an investigative or design assignment in a group. The work includes elements such as choice of subject, problem formulation, planning, literature studies, contact activities, empirical data collection, construction and reporting. Critical review of another's work as well as defence of one's own work are also included. The work is to be described in a report written in a group or individually in consultation with the course coordinator.
Supervision is normally offered only during the period the course is running. In the case of re-registration in a later semester, supervision is offered subject to availability of space and resources.

Admission requirements:
Completed programme courses of at least 120 ECTS credits (Master or Bachelor in Computer Engineering or Bachelor in Computer Science), including 60 ECTS credits in Computer Science with at least 30 ECTS at the G1F level or higher, or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
