Systems modeling and simulation
5.0 ECTS credits- A review of statistical analysis, including ANOVA, and basic principles of queuing theory used for performance analysis.
- Analytical modeling and evaluation of computer systems.
- Simulation-based evaluation, with a focus on discrete event simulation.
- Performance evaluation using emulation techniques.
The course consists of lectures and laboratory sessions.

Admission requirements:
Upper secondary level English 6 or English level 2. Computer networking I (7.5 credits), Operating systems (5 credits) and Mathematical statistics (7.5 credits). An equivalence assessment can be made.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
