Distributed Systems and Cloud Computing

The course combines two adjacent areas of study, distributed systems and cloud computing. It treats basic principles of distributed systems through several examples of different types of distributed applications, and also introduces cloud computing and some of its applications.

Progressive specialisation: A1N (has only first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements)

Education level: Master's level

Admission requirements: 7.5 ECTS credits completed in each of the areas Computer Networking, Operating Systems, and Programming, and upper secondary level English 6, or equivalent

Selection:

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
