Research
I am interested in understanding by means of advanced multiscale modeling, mathematical analysis and simulations the role played by defects occurring in heterogeneous materials on the structure of effective transport fluxes. The defects we are considering are essential elements of the modeling because they allow to pass from an idealized upscaled models to practically relevant situations as they arise e.g. in pulp and paper industry, steel production and reactive transport in porous media.
Bio
I have graduated two master degrees, the first one in 2014 from the Tribhuvan University (Nepal) with Mathematics as specialisation and the second one in 2018 from the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (Germany) with Industrial Mathematics as specialisation.
