Stefan Frodeson

Stefan Frodeson, is actively engages in research related to environmental and energy systems. His research focuses on biomass pelleting and the utilization of additives to expand the raw material base and enhance waste product utilization. Specifically, his work delves into understanding the role that chemical composition has during pelletizing of biomasses. Beyond that Stefan research also is relateded to self-heating and  offgassing during storage and also hydrochar fertilizer pellets from forestry waste.  Stefan conducts laboratory studies at both the single pellet level and pilot scales, occasionally investigating full-scale applications. His contributions significantly advance our understanding of sustainable energy systems and the utilization of biomass. Stefan is a member of the research group NewDeP which operates within the broader research environment of Pro2BE.
