Olov Aronson
Research
Aronson's publications have focused on the topics of social integration, mental health, and parenting. He has considerable experience in using quantitative research methods, and he supports colleagues who seek to apply advanced types of statistical analysis. Also, Aronson has published research based on qualitative research methods, such as discourse analytical methods, and he has an interest in sociological theorizing.
Teaching
Olov primarily teaches courses in the social work program.
Collaboration
Olov participates in the project "Låna en forskare" by ForskarFredag. Through this project, teachers in elementary, secondary, and upper-secondary school can book researcher visits to their class rooms. The visting researchers present their work in an accessible manner.
Bio
Olov Aronson holds a position as an assistant professor in Social Work at Karlstad University. He received a PhD in Welfare and Social Sciences from the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University. He has previously been employed as a postdoc at Karolinska Institutet and as an assistant professor in sociology at Örebro University.
