Visit from Brogårdsgymnasiet in Kristinehamn, June 3

During friday the June 3rd second- and third year students from the Technology programme and Electricity programme at the upper secondary school Brogårdsgymnasiet visited us at the Information System department. All the students were reading courses in web development and it was web development that was is focus during the visit.
The students got a tour in the Information Systems usability lab where they got the chance to try out our eye-tracking equipment and Ozlab. In our computer room they also got the chance to try out some programming with SVG.
The Web and Multimedia programme here at Kau was presented including a description of its different courses, based on the visitors' interest in web development. The presentation was made by Malin Wik, programme director Web and Multimedia, and Katarina Groth, lecturer at Information Systems.
