Odd Fredriksson Erasmus teacher at University of Wollongong
2017-03-24At Karlstad University, Odd teaches classes in Management Information Systems at all levels. His high-level classes have been much appreciated by foreign students coming to Karlstad.
Now, he extended his teaching activities to Australia, as a Visiting EU Erasmus Mobility Academic. For two weeks in March 2017, Odd Fredriksson from the Information Systems department at Karlstad Business School was teaching classes in the Management and Electronic Business course at the University of Wollongong, near Sydney. In this course he also participated in commercial web pages tutorials.
There were also curriculum design discussions that compare the Karlstad Business School and Wollongong subjects on offer for Digital Business. The results of these discussions will be written up, documenting this important aspect of the Erasmus+ visit to Wollongong.
During his visit, Odd also held a research seminar on the topic ”‘A Case Study of a Successful Enterprise System Change’. Research discussions about e-Business/e-Commerce and Enterprise Systems were also held.
The picture shows Odd together with Wollongong’s Rodney Clarke (Rod is also an associate prof., ‘docent’, at Karlstad University). They are working on a joint academia-industry project in logistics management aided by Internet of Things technology.
