CRE8® spreads from Karlstad to Europe2018-09-13
CRE8®, a creative problem solving method developed at Karlstad University, allows students taking different courses and programmes to collaborate while solving real problems. CRE8® Europe has just started for students from four European universities. The project has been granted SEK 2.7 million by the Erasmus strategic partnership programme.
Representatives from the four universities in Spain, Rumania, Norway and Sweden recently met to discuss the design of the project, which is managed by Karlstad University.
Great opportunity for students
“CRE8® Europe will give Karlstad University students a great opportunity to contribute to solutions and to create networks with alumni, universities and businesses in the four countries,” says Ximena Deramond, alumni coordinator and project manager for CRE8® Europe. “We here at Karlstad University will first train our partner universities in the CRE8® method. During the spring of 2019, students will be recruited to teams that will include people from different courses and programmes at the four universities. Then they will start working with the CRE8® method to solve problems and meet challenges experienced by businesses and other labour market partners – represented by alumni – in the four countries.”
The project partners are:
• Karlstad University, Sweden
• James I University of Castellon, Spain
• Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu, Romania
• Inland University, Norway
