Concrete examples of behavioral changes during Service Innovation Day 2024
2024-06-20- The research on behavioral changes and innovation within the Service Research Center (CTF) has a clear relevance in our society, says Per Kristensson, director of CTF at Karlstad University.
This year's Service Innovation Day attracted just under 200 visitors to Karlstad. Lectures with a focus on behavioral science, digitization and innovation were on the agenda - knowledge that can be used to create better products and services and a more sustainable social development. Per Kristensson is satisfied with this year's edition.
- I thought the day was very successful from several perspectives. Partly because we had a relatively large audience, but also because the lecturers we had attracted listeners from all over Sweden. I see that as proof that our research is relevant and important.
The service innovation day included lectures with Joseph Harrington and Kajsa Westling (Samhällsnytta), Jason Potts (RMIT Melbourne), Lina Svensberg (Compare), Niklas Laninge (Nordic Behavior Group) and Per Kristensson (CTF) as well as Karin Brodén (CTF).
- The dominant way of thinking about how to stimulate innovation no longer holds and we in Sweden are in a unique position to be able to do it better. Then I experienced the Value-Creating Conversation as very good and gave concrete examples of how to succeed with behavioral change.
What can you tell us about the continued work within CTF?
- During the autumn, we will work more on how we can run different types of service innovation projects, says Per Kristensson. For example, we will conduct a new measurement of the Swedish Innovation Index. The result will be presented during Service Innovation Day 2025.
