Economics
Economics is a broad subject with many specializations, including macroeconomics, microeconomics, labor market economics, public economics, political economics, and environmental economics. We study questions like: Is there a trade-off between inflation and unemployment? Will artificial intelligence replace our jobs? And why do women earn less money than men? Economics studies provide you with theoretical and empirical tools to analyze and investigate societal questions.
Education
You can study economics in the economics program, as part of other programs, or as single-subject courses. We offer a 4-year Business and Economics program (joint with the Department of Business Administration), with courses in both Swedish and English. We also offer a 2-year Master's Program taught completely in English and several single courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in English.
