Open access deal - Springer Nature

The agreement with Springer Nature is valid 2025-2028 and covers publishing in more than 2,000 hybrid and open access journals. A prerequisite is that the submitting corresponding author is affiliated with Karlstad University, and that this affiliation is apparent in the article.

What do I as researcher need to do?

Upon acceptance of your paper, you will automatically receive e-mail notification from the publisher on the next step in the process. You will need to state Karlstad University as your affiliation, and we will then confirm this to the publisher. After this, Springer Nature will inform you that the article is to be published open access and free of charge.
