Cooperation and external relations

We always promote personal meetings between students and staff. Music is an animated tool for building bridges between teachers and students, but also between subjects, art forms, cultures and different institutions and businesses.

Students at the centre

We involve the community through concerts, musical theatre, sponsored partnerships and professional development activities that take place in close cooperation with municipalities, organisations and cultural institutions. Our students are of course at the centre of our activities, and they do not only develop their musical and pedagogical skills, but are also in direct contact with their future professions.

Students’ ability to cooperate is also developed at MHI, and plays a central role in the lives and working conditions of professional musicians and artistic pedagogues. We also develop their abilities to network and exchange knowledge through which further community cooperation can be promoted.
