Real Estate with Introduction to Commercial Law
15.0 ECTS creditsThe course covers issues relating to commercial law, frequently encountered in the fields of real estate brokerage and business administration.
Initially, this course focuses on legal methodology and classification, as well as on general juridical aspects of real estate brokerage. These issues will be further explored throughout the course. This will include a discussion on liability with respect to general and sales contracts, the Code of Land Laws and the law of real estate brokerage.
The course then moves on to cover areas in commercial law that are particularly relevant to the field of business administration. This includes corporate law, insolvency law, indemnity law, and financial family law. Special emphasis is placed on the interpretation of contractual agreements, sanctions, and conflict solution relating to breach of contract. Another central subject area is estate law and its concepts of blame and liability.
Finally, the course will also cover relevant laws relating to legal practice and procedure.
