Health Psychology

The course deals with the importance of psychological factors to health and health promotion based on a gender and life span perspective. The health aspects are related to a developmental psychology context in which identity, self-perception and self-esteem are central concepts. Personality and sociopsychological factors relating to health and health promotion are also treated.
