International and multicultural perspectives on clinical nursing

Netbased supervision is provided in connection with field studies.
The course centres on literature study on a chosen concept in the field of nursing. It comprises field studies in an international and multicultural nursing environment, where students observe and participate in the nursing of patients, under supervision of the nurse in charge. Ethics and nursing environment are studied in relation to the chosen concept. A multi-method approach is used (literature study and field observations) and the emphasis is on method and presentation. The result of the literature study and observations are presented and discussed where the field studies were carried out.

Degree in Nursing (180 ECTS cr) including degree project 15 ECTS cr or Bachelor degree in social care or equivalent. Upper secondary school level Swedish B/Sw 2B and English A.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
