Degree project - Prehospital Emergency Care
15.0 ECTS creditsInstruction is in the form of literature study, supervision, and seminars. Supervision is normally offered to pairs or groups of students, and takes place either online or in connection with on-campus meetings.
The degree project is a research study with relevance to prehospital emergency care and is carried out as a systematic literature study or as an empirical study.
A project plan (PM) is created based on the chosen area of research and an information search in databases, and includes a description of the chosen scientific method and research ethical considerations. The degree project is reported in writing based on the research process and concluded through seminars where students perform as writers and peer reviewers.
Supervision is provided for the duration of the course. Reregistered students are only offered supervision if circumstances permit.

Admission requirements:
Nursing licence issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare, a nursing degree of at least 180 ECTS credits (including a degree project of at least 15 ECTS credits) or a Bachelor degree in nursing (including a degree project of at least 15 ECTS credits), plus at least 12 months full-time work experience as a licensed nurse, plus upper secondary level Swedish 3 or Swedish as a second language 3 and English 6 or A, or Swedish level 3 or Swedish as a second language level 3 and English level 2, and admission to the Study Programme for Specialist Nursing in Prehospital Emergency Care, 60 ECTS credits, with Scientific method, 7.5 ECTS credits, completed at the second-cycle level, or equivalent
