Degree Project

At the beginning of the course, students submit a project plan specifying the design and process, for the approval of the examiner before they can start the project and get supervision. The project plan must include background, aim, problem, bibliography, method and a time plan. The degree project is primarily expected to be carried out in conjunction with an external company or organisation, but this is not an absolute requirement.Students can choose to work alone or in pairs. If two students collaborate, different problems must be clearly stated. The written report, the presentation and seminar discussion are also individual. Students are required to serve as peer reviewer at the final seminar.

The course includes a mandatory seminar where the project plan is presented and discussed.
The degree project is an independent activity and the student is responsible for the process and the result. The student is also responsible for planning and requesting supervision sessions. The number of sessions is limited and supervision is only provided for the course duration. Reregistered students are offered supervision if circumstances permit.

Progressive specialisation: G2E (has at least 60 credits in first‐cycle course/s as entry requirements, contains degree project for Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science)

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
