Complex perspectives on environment and sustainable development
7.5 ECTS credits-Presentation of various understandings of the content, development and use of the concept complexity in philosophy, ecology and social science theory
-Treatment and discussion of diversity, process, norm, universality and particularity in relation to complexity and sustainable development as a global goal in regional and local practice
-Review of an number of current relevant cases on the basis of different interpretations and aspects of complexity
-Active participation, critical reflection and oral and written scholarly argumentation.
Instruction is in the form of lectures and seminars.

Sustainable Development and Regional Perspectives, 7.5 ECTS cr., or equivalent. Upper secondary school level Swedish 3 or B, Swedish as a Second Language 3 or B, English 6 or A, or equivalent.

Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
