7.5 ECTS creditsThe course includes general music education, including:
- Seminars featuring presentations and discussions of texts from current general and music education literature, research, and debate
- Work on teaching philosophy
The course also includes ensemble methodology, which focuses on aural-based ensemble leadership within the genres of folk and world music.
The classroom methodology component primarily covers the following:
- Planning, implementing, and evaluating lessons and small-scale music projects, such as school performances
- Reviewing and practically applying aesthetic learning processes within music education for younger age groups
- An educational perspective on the use of various digital learning tools such as Smartboards, YouTube, mobile phones, and PowerPoint

Completed Thesis 1 - Music education, 15 ECTS credits, and registered for Music and Music Teaching 7, 7.5 ECTS credits, Teachers' professional leadership 1 - Music teachers, 7.5 ECTS credits, plus Classroom music teaching 5, 15 ECTS credits, or equivalent
