Research-based school development (Secondary Education Bridging Programme, Bachelor's level)

The module treats the following components from a praxis and subject specific teaching perspective:
- different theory of science and theoretical perspectives on education, teaching and learning research
- various research and evaluation methods linked to education, teaching and learning
- national and international research and evaluation results on school's and teachers' development
- planning a research-based development project,
Module 2 Practical Placement 3, 7.5 ECTS cr
Students engage in:
- planning, leading and evaluate teaching during a long period in their future capacity as teachers
- problematise cooperation and communication between students, guardians and scoll personnel
- taking part in development efforts
- analysing and evaluating the teacher mandate and their own professional development in relation to previously identified areas of improvement.
