Resarch Practicum, Chemical Engeneering
15.0 ECTS creditsStudents make contact with researchers and agree on a practical placement period. The course starts with a week of preparatory study of the research project. Then the students partake in the daily work for 8 weeks and perform tasks normally included in research. Students document and reflect on their experiences and daily activities in the form of a laboratory notebook. The course is concluded with a week in which students compile their journals into a coherent text and prepare an oral presentation on the research practical training. Students are required to partake in internal seminar series and in other meetings where research issues are discussed.
