Ensemble III, Western classical music
7.5 ECTS creditsStudents study and perform Western classical music repertoires for various ensemble constellations in different styles and from various epochs. They identify and solve technique and rendition problems relating to style, performance praxis, notation issues and interpretation in various forms of ensemble music from different epochs. They also discuss artistic issues, critically reflect on approaches to musical interplay and identify their needs of development. Students whose main instrument is the piano also practise accompaniment. Parts of the repertoire are performed in in-house concerts. nstruction is in the form of group lessons and concentrated rehearsals during project weeks.
