Social planning - practical training
15.0 ECTS creditsStudents are responsible for finding a practical placement in the field of social planning and for securing approval from the university.
The practical training is adjusted to the needs and conditions of the workplace and the student. The student is expected to participate actively in the general and daily tasks in the workplace in order to gain knowledge of the various areas involved in social planning and investigation projects.
The student and field supervisor draw up a plan for the practical placement together in accordance with the guidelines above. The student should be given the opportunity to carry out tasks according to special directives. The practical placement period comprises 10 weeks, including related assignments.

Admission to the Spatial and Social Planning Programme (SGSAM) at Karlstad University, and programme courses of at least 105 ECTS credits completed
Selection:
Selection is usually based on your grade point average from upper secondary school or the number of credit points from previous university studies, or both.
