Information Systems and IT
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course treats the basics of the physical and logical construction and function of information systems and their relation to humans and their enterprises. Aspects dealt with are the smallest computer components, equipment, computer types, memory, networks, communication and security, along with the analysis, design and construction of information and enterprise systems and their relation to fundamental administration and information needs. Also treated is the way the enterprise system constitutes a central unit in the company and can give management important information on which to base decisions and realize company strategies and goals.
