Study and career guidance from an intercultural perspective
7.5 ECTS creditsThe course is an introduction to study and career guidance in an intercultural perspective. The course offers an overview of theories and methods used to understand, analyse, and manage study and career guidance through a critical discussion of norms and an intercultural perspective. A special emphasis is placed on developing knowledge and strategies for consultation and communicatioon across boundaries of language and culture in situations specific to professions. The course also includes in-depth study of culture-specific values, different systems of norms, and cultural variations in epistemology.
