Intercultural Studies: Introduction to Interculturality
15.0 ECTS creditsThis course is an introduction to the interdisciplinary field of intercultural studies and to the subject's different research traditions. If you are interested in interculturtality in general this course provides a perfect entry to the field. The course focuses on diversity, intercultural communication, multilingualism, cultural identity and integration. This is a 15 credits distance course and you can apply either for the Spring or the Autumn semester, the course is running for 20 weeks (50% study pace). The course is also available as a summer course (10 weeks, 100 % study pace). An option is to simultaneously study the course IKGA02, Intercultural studies: Indentity in theory and practice 15 credits (also 50 % study pace), together these two courses provides the student ample knowledge for further studies in Intercultural studies.
